ＩＳＡの目的とするところは、学生の手によって諸外国との文化交流を通じ相互理解を深めて世界平和に貢献することです。つまりそれはヒューマニズムに基づき、文化交流及び話し合いを通じて世界平和達成への貢献をすることなのです。 我々はこのような世界平和に対する理念を持っているのです。 ＩＳＡがこの理念に基づいて活動する際に一番重視しなければならないのは現実に対する深く正しい認識だと思います。我々人類は今世紀のうち２度までも言語に絶する戦争の恐ろしさ、とりわけ核兵器の恐ろしさを嫌というほど経験し、その人間性の喪失というとてつもない罪科を支払ってきたのであります。それはいかなる理由からでしょうか。それは我々人間が「人類はひとつである」という共通認識を欠いていたからに他なりません。つまり人類ヒューマニズムの欠如であると思います。 ですから我々は世界に存在する戦争の要因を一つ一つ除去するために最善の努力をしなければなりません。この崇高なる目的を達成する為に、我々は共通の場をもち、お互いの人間同士の心のふれあい、つまり思想以前の実感としてのヒューマニズムを人間性の尊重にまで高めます。そして我々はそれを基礎として不偏不党の立場を貫き、一つの思想に偏することなく、文化交流という手段を講じることによって、各国間あるいは世界全体に存在するあらゆる不信・猜疑・敵対心と誤解を消去し、国際相互理解を深め、よって世界平和に貢献するのであります。

The purpose of ISA is contribution to world peace by understanding each other by cultural exchange to foreign countries by students. We have these philosophy to make world peace. We think the most important thing when we act based on this philosophy is to recognize correct reality. Humans have twice experienced a horror which cannot be described with world, the horror of war and especially the horror of nuclear arms and have paid (so much that we could call it) the loss of humanity. What’s the reason? That’s the lack of the thinking that identity of human. That is to say, the lack of humanism. So, we have to do our best to get rid of the factor of war one by one. For achieve this noble goal, we must spend the same time, and communicate each other, and heighten our humanism respecting human nature.
